Digital Archiving

Long-Term Preservation, Self-Archiving, and Access to Published Research

1. Digital Archiving Policy

The Indonesian Journal of Applied Science Innovation Outcomes (IJASIO) supports the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of scholarly articles published on the journal platform.

IJASIO permits authors to retain access to their scholarly work and to self-archive their manuscripts in appropriate scholarly repositories and academic platforms, subject to the applicable copyright and licensing terms.

Self-Archiving: Authors may archive their submitted, accepted, and published manuscript versions as described in this policy.

2. Long-Term Digital Preservation

IJASIO recognizes digital preservation as an important component of maintaining the scholarly record. Published articles should remain accessible through persistent journal records and stable article metadata.

The journal seeks to maintain the integrity and accessibility of published content and its associated bibliographic metadata over the long term.

3. Self-Archiving Policy

IJASIO permits author self-archiving without an embargo period.

Submitted Version

Authors may archive the manuscript version originally submitted to IJASIO in an appropriate open-access or institutional repository.

Accepted Version

Authors may archive the accepted manuscript following completion of the peer-review process.

Published Version

Authors may immediately archive and distribute the final published version of record without an embargo.

Attribution of the Published Version: When depositing the final published version, authors should acknowledge IJASIO as the original place of publication and provide the article DOI and a link to the official journal version whenever available.

4. Permitted Archiving Locations

Authors may deposit their work in appropriate scholarly locations, including:

✓ Institutional repositories
✓ University repositories
✓ Subject repositories
✓ Personal academic websites
✓ Research profiles
✓ Scholarly research networks

5. Reader and User Rights

Published IJASIO articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Subject to the terms of the license, readers and users may:

All reuse must comply with the terms and conditions of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, including appropriate attribution and the ShareAlike requirement where applicable.

6. Attribution Requirements

When authors or other users redistribute or reuse the published version, appropriate attribution should be provided. Attribution should identify:

  • the author(s);
  • the article title;
  • Indonesian Journal of Applied Science Innovation Outcomes (IJASIO) as the original publication source;
  • the article DOI, when available; and

7. ShareAlike Requirement

Because IJASIO articles are distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0, adaptations and derivative works must comply with the ShareAlike conditions specified by the license.

Users should review the official license terms before redistributing adapted or modified versions of published content.

8. Third-Party Material

Authors and users should distinguish material that is subject to the IJASIO article license from third-party material that may have separate copyright or licensing conditions.

Permission for reuse of third-party material may need to be obtained separately where such material is not covered by the article's license.

9. Digital Preservation Commitment

IJASIO is committed to maintaining stable access to its published scholarly record and supporting the long-term preservation of journal content and metadata.

Where preservation services or repository arrangements are implemented, they may be used to provide additional redundancy and long-term accessibility for published content.
